Our lakes have been frozen since the end of November until last weekend, so do phone ahead to book your day tickets just in case we receive anymore hard frosts in the weeks to come. We have had a few hardy fishermen braving the cold windy weather, the fishing is hard as to be expected, but on Centre things are looking up, Mark Eales one of our regulars, caught 12 pike on the 7th of January, the largest being 12lb and by chance he caught that particular pike twice, however a few days before that a 16lb pike came out from the depths, so dont be put off. Day tickets are still only £5.00 per person (one rod only) and remember barbless hooks only please, but remember to book in case we have a match that day or the lakes are closed.
