I am please to say that you keen fishermen have certainly been taking advantage of the beautiful weather recently and gaining some amazing results. Bean lake - The biggest reported catch so far this year is 37lb5oz carp. The lake is fishing HARD but by putting the time, effort and commitment in people have been achieving better results, some even beating their personal bests! Average size of carp is 25lb Lodge Lake - 29lb is the biggest carp and the fish are being very allusive! beautiful Tench upto 7lb with the Golden Orfe being over 6lb 5oz. Paddock Lake - 'Socratees' 34lb has been caught 3 times now this year and is making this lovely lake more popular as anglers are now up for the challenge! could it be you next time? don't hesitate phone in an book your swim! Centre Lake - Still a very popular lake to fish, Pike are causing havoc and being a nuisance, whilst Cat fish are coming out up to 30lbs. Please remember to use a net to place the fish back to the water, we don't want any incidents because people are being irresponsible. Copse Lake - Quite, Peaceful & satisfying fishing happening on here and some fantastic days have been had. One angler caught 27 Tench in one day and was so thrilled that he must of spread the word as this little lake is getting more and more popular. Snake Lake - Fishing well and still popular as ever! Please remember that this lake is closed for 2015 as maintenance is carried out to make the swims better, weeding, de sludge and most importantly to give our fish the best environment.
